We’ve completed the fitting of the fully fitted cabinet and oak unit containing the family’s antique model ship that we told you about here – and we think it looks fantastic in place. The oak really contrasts beautifully with the large flagstones on the floor of the clients’ home, and the lighting that we designed and built into the unit works very subtly with the lighting in the rest of the room. This really is the type of furniture that we are experts at making, in that it fills a blank space with character, purpose, usefulness and beauty. best of all, in this case, is that the antique ship so precious to its family has now reached its home port where it belongs for the last time…..
