We are often asked to come into someone’s property to completely rethink and reimagine a client’s use of space, and then design, make and fit furniture accordingly. That also applies of course to kitchens which to many people, are the most important area of any home.
Earlier this year we were asked to go and assess a kitchen in a house in Nettlebed that was tired, flowed badly, and was in need of a major overhaul. The clients asked us to create a much more user-friendly kitchen for them that would also be lighter, brighter with a more airy feel to it.
The photos above are ‘before’ photos, and it’s easy to see that the spaces were cramped, impractical, and not helped by the unusual layout of the brick walls and archway. Worktop space was limited and the sink and cooker were old-fashioned.
Anyway, we completed the job, and we will be posting up the ‘after’ pictures very soon….
