Shoes don’t really get looked after well by most of us – come in through the door, kick them off, and they’re likely to end up in some dusty corner, or disappear underneath an even dustier sofa.
We think shoes should be treated better, and so when we build and design our wardrobes, we always try and incorporate some intelligent storage space for flustered footwear. We were particularly pleased that our client in Essex – for whom we built some bespoke wardrobes in oak – thought the same as us. So now his fabulous purple pumps rest easy in pride of place in their special shoe sanctuary.
