We were recently asked to design and make a cabinet to house the oven and hob of a kitchen that was being built into a new extension. Of course we obliged, and this is the result, which you see here just about finished. The cabinet’s drawers are made from solid oak, and fascia of the unit is completely hand painted. The black granite work top sets it all off beautifully.
This was one of those classic jobs that we think we’re pretty good at – using an unusual, new or odd space to its full potential. You simply would not have been able to have walked into a furniture or kitchen shop and found a cabinet that would have fitted!
