We recently added the final but every important touch to the bespoke kitchen that we designed and made for our clients in Stoke Hammond. This last vital piece was the glass splash back that sits behind the hob, work tops and below the extractor and adjoining units. This splashback was made from toughened low iron glass, and then was sprayed in a Farrow and Ball shade called Down Pipe. This shade is a dark lead grey, and has definite blue undertones that prevent it from feeling too hard. Originally inspired by the colour used to paint downpipes and guttering it has been embraced for use inside the home with fanatical zeal! See more at: www.farrow-ball.com.
