This is another commission that we very much enjoyed making and fitting for clients near Aston Abbotts – the same clients in fact in the previous post for whom we also made the amazing TV wall. The client wanted a glass breakfast bar that could be attached to and sit easily with their existing granite worktops, so this is what we came up with.
This is a 19mm low iron glass breakfast bar which we designed and drew up. From this drawing, it was cut out on a CNC machine, so is precision cut. This type of glass is toughened of course, and has had its edges polished smooth. The metal supports are brushed stainless steel and we had them made from a drawing Mark supplied to the metal workers.
We’re very pleased with the result, and it works particularly well with the clients’ own coloured and transparent bar stools.
