Well, they said it would be a proper storm, and it was. It has to be said that although the wind is still gusting strongly, round this way it doesn’t seem to have been as bad as it has been in other parts of the country – 99mph winds in places. We hope you’re all safe and your Monday hasn’t been disrupted too much. Many trees are down, so we also hope that our local Chilterns woods haven’t been damaged too much.
