Alfie is a Labrador retriever, and we got him when he was almost 2 years old from Medical Detection Dogs because he failed his initial training, despite his good nature. He was too nervous in urban/town situations, though with us he has become an obedient dog.
He’s not much good at wood work as his paws can’t quite cut straight lines with a saw, but he’s a faithful friend and continual source of entertainment. Running circuits of the workshop is one of his favourite pastimes.
This association is where Alfoe came from, and their people do great work: www.medicaldetectiondogs.org.uk
