Thame is a wonderful market town which is just up the road from our Buckinghamshire workshop, but is actually over the county line in Oxfordshire, so we do work often for clients there. We’ve been working over the past few months in one beautiful home not far from the cricket green in Thame, and one commission was this small desk. Our clients wanted it for the family room, and it had to have soft closing drawers, space for a PC tower stand with management for all its cables, and a pop up USB charging station. We made the desk in European Oak and stained it to match other furniture the clients already owned. It was finished off with a hard-wearing clear lacquer for durability. Fits very nicely we think between the fireplace and the window.
