This time, we’re going to do things a little differently here at Mark Williamson Furniture, and show you one our furniture commissions once it has been fully fitted and completed – then next week, we’ll post up some photos of it under construction. Like that you can see the complete contrast between furniture fully fitted and in place, and then how it looked under construction in our workshop – in other words, completely different. Our clients chose a stained and clear lacquered finish, and the wardrobes are made from oak with frame and panel mirrored doors. Here’s the technical spec as usual below. FREE STANDING WARDROBES
– Pair of free-standing wardrobes constructed in oak veneered MDF with dark oak stain and hard-wearing, clear lacquered finish throughout
– Framed Mirror-glass faced double doors to sit on high quality, concealed, soft close hinges
– Angled oak feet
– Plinth and cornice detail
– Wardrobe doors to have solid oak frame constructed using mortice and tenon joints with a set-back mirror-glass panel
– Each wardrobe to have full height chrome hanging in both with shelves below – one shelf in one wardrobe and two in the other
– All shelves to be adjustable and to sit on concealed, high quality, chrome pins
– Constructed with a biscuited and carcass screwed construction to be assembled on site and could be disassembled if necessary in the future
