A few months ago we completed the design, making and installation of this beautiful staircase into a house in Stone, Bucks. This is a home where he have already fitted a kitchen built by us. We constructed the staircase in sapele and oak, and the banister is softwood. Sapele by the way is a large protected tree native to tropical Africa, and is often called the African mahogany. We primed areas where necessary ready for painting by the client, and we oiled all the oak for a durable finish and superior protection.
